I matched with a grille on tinder who I studied with 5 years ago. We were kinda friendly for a while but then not anymore. She avoided me and I thought she didn't like me. Now she tells me she thought I hated her because she slept with a friend of mine and I was jealous, but for some reason we both swiped, matched and found out we didn't actually hate each other.
This is super awesome in my opinion, because I always feel like I'm accumulating people that hate me in this city and now it turns out it might actually be a positive relationship of some kind. We will see what happens saturday. We are going for a nice scenic walk.

it helps to have someone teach you who makes the learning experience fun.
For example, this one time, my highschool calculus teacher locked his door and had the students wait outside. When he let us in, all of the tables, chairs, and books were spread on the floor. In the middle of the room there was a blanket and a lump. He started freaking out and said "Oh no what happened?" He lifted the blanket from the lump and gasped as he unveiled a decrepit cabbage patch kid doll. He puts a thermometer into the doll and reads out a temperature.
And basically, the entire lesson surrounded the "murder" of this doll, and how we could solve differential equations to determine the time of "death".
I remembered a shit ton about Newton's law of cooling after that.

I've completely overhauled the Essential Far-Right Metal guide for 2020. It is now Essential Nationalist Metal since all the artists have, in some form or another, expressed Nationalist ideals even if they aren't Nazis or Fascist but still aligned on the right. I went to the bank today to get some proof of my poverty and fix my visa issue so I could go back to work. The first teller was in a bad mood, it rubbed off on me. She barked at me to remove my toque, insinuating I was some sort of criminal, then went to the photocopy machine and started whispering to her coworker about me. When she glanced back and her coworker did as well, I knew she was being a crabby bitch. Then I find out the bank took $5 from me because of some unknown bank tax that I haven't yet clarified. The woman then feels obliged to chastise me for not linking my phone # to my account or having a tax number. Somehow these useless faggots lost my tax number and she was asking me why i haven't used the account in two months or why there's $2 in there.
When I return with my info,an entirely different teller gives ms shit again cause I forgot my toque on aggovernmentto see id. She squints at me with suspicion when I produce my health card again and scolds me about the being ignorant of the tax bracket I'm in. Since I'm not familiar with NZ's tax brackets I ask her and she rolls her eyes telling me its not her job to inform me. At this point i want to allah ackbar. Canadian banks aren't this bad. I tell her put me in the lowest bracket, and fuck off. Fucking bitch. I hate how banks in nz control everyone's ability to work and have engineered a cashless society with help of australia, the british crown and the governmdnf.

This depends entirely on the school, the department, and your classmates. If there is a pro to the American system is that it offers a substantial amount of flexibility. In my PhD program in biochemistry there was someone that studied Greek classics for an undergraduate degree and someone who spent seven years as a bartender before going back to study for his PhD.
Both of those people are nontraditional students and have done really well, both publishing a lot as well as getting teaching/post docs at nice institutions.
Such a move would be impossible in say, the French or nordic systems.

I can't stand my own scribbles and drawings in the 2 bullet journals started this year. I hate drawing writing out the months, drawing boxes and god forbid scripting the headers.
The two notebooks helped me back into daily journaling, which might turn out useful after this exceptional year. Will still write in the current BuJo until NYE, just so that I don't feel as if I have wasted a perfectly good notebook by leaving in 'unfinished'.
But it's back to readymade planners for OP, a cheap (but ridiculously hard to find) Muji planner and a generic notebook for 2021.
