United Statespet food for human consumptionBernd2020-12-11 10:52:37 · 6yNo. 105128reply
have you ever tasted pet food? they're perfectly safe to eat (the exceptions are those edible chewing-sticks for teething puppies, which are very hard and present a choking hazard). there are stories of people eating stuff like cat food during hard times.
earlier today, i tasted a dog treat (took a small bite). they were training treats, little brown pellets designed to be a reward for good puppies.
to be honest with you, it wasn't that bad. it tasted like a concentrated barbeque sauce compressed into a pellet, that is to say, it had a very intense smokey flavor. texture-wise, i will describe it as dense but soft, it crumbles rather than crunches when you bite down on it. it left a strong and unpleasant aftertaste for a very long time, even after i drank coffee and water.
overall: better than i expected, just a bit too much flavor added to the pellets. that persistant aftertaste turns me away from the idea of eating it during starvation.
on a related note, cat food is designed to be bland because cats can't handle strong flavors, whereas dogs evolved to eat our leftovers

As children, my sister and I developed quite the taste for pet food. We enjoyed eating the dog biscuits, the cat kibble, and also the fish flakes. They all had different qualities and flavours, but by far the dog biscuits were my favourite.

I bet they still taste good. But almost definitely not fit for human consumption.

it's cat food, and that's because it's spicy and quite healthy

No, not at all. Even the mighty plans I crafted in the confident afterglow of my successful trip didn't last the night's sleep. But everything was so different after. I no longer prevented myself from living life. I hardly ever felt truly depressed since, and all the small things I've done to change my life for the better would make it unlikely for me to now, even though I no longer feel the benefits of an opened mind after all those years passed.

This year we agreed on gifting my nephew, who is 4 years old and not actually related, some nice Hot Wheels® stuff.

I got him pic related because I thought it could be easily integrated into a bigger track and give some verticality. Sadly after reading some more reviews it turns out that it barely works with the car included and most other cars don't.

What is this shit? Please help me find a good set!

I think so too. I would rather get a kid that age Duplo, that's the kind of toy that never gets boring because it's creative and allows imagination to run wild. Toy cars are cooler at first, but what can you do with cars other than race? It gets boring.

i agree with getting blocks. i loved playing with legos in elementary school. they had a big bucket of assorted pieces for us to play with if it was raining/snowing outside. i remember getting disappointed when i went to the toy store to buy my own assorted set and couldn't find anything that wasn't themed (they were all star wars or race cars, etc.). i just wanted to build whatever i wanted
it might be different for the duplo line, however
