I really don't want this to be taken the wrong way, I don't want to say the Germans in general were the victims in WWII, but it annoys me to now end that Anglos seem to believe their bombing campaigns only destroyed Dresden. If you're lucky they also know about Hamburg. In reality, almost every major city was flattened.

My home town lost >98% of buildings and went from 250k inhabitants to 50k.

1. Why do they not remember any of their firebombings besides Dresden, though?
2. Why do we always have to argue who was the most evil in WWII? Why can't we just see the tragedies as tragedies for one minute. Beautiful historical cities were there before the Nazis came along but were destroyed anyway. I feel bad for Brits being bombed, too, even though they bombed my grandma.

Something I find kind of weird is that in USA left wingers will often point out the excesses of the American air bombing campaign in Japan yet doing so for Germany is seen as Nazi apologia.

As far as I know the missions are:
- Flying a cool helicopter
- Drilling holes and leaving samples behind
- Driving to some old river delta and checking for signs of life in the sediment

The samples will be picked up by another rover made by ESA in the future which will be part of another NASA mission. Then that ESA rover will launch itself into orbit again and to be be picked up by an ESA orbiter that will then fly back to earth.

If that works I am gonna lose my shit. Sound fucking amazing.

That sounds really complicated tbh. But I guess still easier than building something that can do all of that on its own.

That's nice. Last time I had to deal with my bank it took nearly 5 months until they refunded me 96 dollars from some AirBnB I cancelled. What's worse is that in this case AirBNB actually refunded it, but my bank was being retarded and couldn't find it for some reason, eventually they did though, after much prompting from me.

I'm wondering why you aren't allowed to return it. Do they explicitly mention a non-return policy for car batteries anywhere? Is this a universal policy for car batteries even at the stationary car battery store next door? Or what do you even mean with security condition?

So, I am camping at my parents home because I'm working from home anyway and I hadn't seen them for almost half a year.
Yesterday evening my mother read an article in "Der Spiegel" about internet forums and imageboards. Reddit, 8kun, Discord etc. were mentioned, and words like "Incel" were explained.

Yet my mother decided to ask me if I knew what an Incel is.
I bet she thinks I am one. Since I moved out I managed to get gf but I can't talk to my parents about it because they raised me in a way that girls is a 100% taboo topic.

After I had to translate "involuntary celibate" because she didn't understand it, she also asked me about the word "boomercringe" because apparently it was on TV, and then I ragequit the living room.

What do?

We had sex ED when I was 12, our young, hot teacher with at least D cubs showed us on some wood dildo how to put on a condom and we learned how children are created from sperm in vagina.

However there wasn't a single word about sex, like, putting benis into it, so how could I know how the sperms get in there? I wasn't interested in girls at all yet so I didn't really care about it either.

Also, that teachers name was "Bisch", and some of my classmates (who all were one year older than me because I skipped a class) made fun of her, calling her "bitch". I remember how I asked my parents what "bitch" means and they told me that "Bitsch" is the word for a female dog in german. Well, they weren't wrong but they obviously avoided telling me the real reason why my classmates called her like that.
GermanyBernd2021-02-17 22:13:06 · 5yNo. 110160reply
I'm another Bernd, but we had two or three rounds of sex ed if I remember correctly.

The first time was when we were around 10 and I don't even remember if we actually had it or if my classmates were just sperging out on the playground that we were supposed to have it and the teacher conveniently forgot about it because she didn't want to do it.

Second time was two or three years later but it was extremely technical, just naming organs on a graphic. (This is the glans, this is the scrotum, etc.) And putting a condom on a styrofoam penis, some talk about pls don't get preggers, pls don't get STDs, abortions exist but are very problematic.

Third time was before we turned 16 and the teacher tried to make it a bit more suitable for real life and let us ask many questions. Although she refused to answer a lot of stuff and talked her way around things. I remember she didn't want to say what fellatio was when asked and she refused to say sex was fun. She came up with some kind of roundabout way of saying it like: "Nature made it in such a way that people want to do it" or something...

I can see how some students at different schools or with different teachers might have missed the memo.
