Sure thing. I don't really believe that you need to study 10 years kind of biology to be able to determine flu. And other than something that simple still requires a dozen of analyses and researches, no matter how much the doctor is educated.
If engineers were treating people and curing them, they would have already developed a system so even the stupidest person could follow simple rules and figure out what's wrong is going on. Like in fucking every complex engineering system.

In Russia a programmer might do that. I'm a programmer and pure mathematician at the same time, it's what written in my diploma exactly and it's what I've been studying.
We actually have many mixed up with programming specializations next to pure programming or engineering. Bioinformatics, for example, considered engineering discipline and not medical, from what I've seen about their educational program and requirements to study that profession. But that's about some good universities with somehow rather unique specialties. General programmers here totally cannot into science.

Why so? I've had a glimpse into pathoanatomy and bioinformatics and can't say it's dramatically different from what I've been processing while doing informatics tasks when I do some researches. Can you elaborate please?
Also so many medical machines are made by engineers. How do you think they could write its software if they were not able to understand the medical part? But that's just a guess, not a statement.
Hey Bernd, I'm not sure if I should migrate to this place. The stuff happening on Kohl feels really weird and the pedoshit there is annoying me for some time now. I'm actually an exclusive phone poster (and I have nopproblem typing out 800 word essays for IBs on this device) and feel that Kohl still has some advantages for mobile users. Like the catalog.
Here, I have to scroll a lot since threads get displayed as list not in a matrix where I can oversee several topics and read the OP text by clicking in the text field. It's probably a lot of being used to Kohl and I'm just lazy to adapt.
Is anyone else torn between leaving Kohl for good and just staying there? Other boards seem so slow, which doesn't have to be a bad thing I get that, but would you think that this place here would probably become #1 migration place for KohlBernds?
I've lost track about other places and only know about ernst, for example. But I don't like it there. Here seems fine so far, but mobile interface is a little bit lacking in my eyes right now.

In case you are alone tomorrow: Does it make you feel extra bad? I mean since lockdown in many countries you will probably not be outside and see happy couples doing couple things and get triggered.
I'm really indifferent. Of course I'm alone, but I can't say I will feel more alone tomorrow and be more grumpy. I don't feel I'm in a position to date or even have a relationship for many years now, because I've many other problems. I couldn't make someone happy, because I'm not happy.

I had a polish dude sitting next to me in biology classes, he was about 1,50m short despite we all were 17-18 already.
He tried really hard to always get the best marks in school, maybe it was to cope, I don't know.
Well anyway, since I was bad in school, he always made fun of me and told the teachers that I am "annoying him when I sleep".
So yeah, one day he came to me alone and asked me to study harder or he will ask the teacher to sit next to someone else, and I just punched him. I'm pretty weak, but it was enough for him to hit his head on the wall and he bled, which got me almost suspended from school.
But apart from this guy, I only have positive experiences with poles.
