There is this one really stupid course at university, "formal syntax", which focuses on the details of the German grammar, despite nowadays, computer linguistical problems just being solved the kind of brute force way by training a neural network.

In addition, the professor of this subject really can not present so I never went to her lectures and did the homework required for the allowance to take part in the exam with chatGPT 4 or not at all.

Now I barely have enough points to be allowed to the exam. I need to make 13 of 15 with this last bonus sheet.

Results will be in in 1 hour.

Wish me luck, thanks

hmm they talk about a signal booster, like a miniature cell tower. having that with the switch of a button (not all the time, i don't want to increase cell radiation unless necessary) might be useful.
GermanyBernd2023-07-07 19:28:37 · 3yNo. 277750reply
booster is just some marketing lingo.
Antennas are passive by definition. You can't receive something that isn't there. You can only amplify what you have received more. But there is a limit to that as this introduces noise.
If you drive somewhere with no signal you can do nothing to receive it anyway.
GermanyBernd2023-07-07 20:28:26 · 3yNo. 277775reply

signal booster sounded active to me, maybe similar to a wifi repeater. just some powered device that amplifies all the signals so that my devices can pick it up better.

>If you drive somewhere with no signal you can do nothing to receive it anyway.

i have trouble imagining places with no signal. maybe some top secret bases or something like that but i would have thought there is at least a weak signal everywhere in this country.

Roughly twenty years ago while I was reading about this black physicist (not Neil deGrasse Tyson, different black guy) who claimed to be working on a way to travel back in time to be able to meet with his dead father when he was still alive I came up with this idea of a time machine being built within this huge underground facility like the one by CERN for the LHC, but this one would use a spiral of powerful lasers that could create a superheated fireball which might contain a micro-black hole (or microsingularity). Antimatter gathered from lightning sprites in Earth's upper atmosphere could be used to produce at least two microsingularities--the vortices produced by their spin rotations at polar opposites could in itself be/contain a wormhole and/or an Einstein-Rosen bridge which could then itself be trapped by employing the Casimir effect within a Faraday cage. The bridge could allow for data to be transmitted to the past, but only as far back as to when the machine was first switched on. Thus information such as stock market info could be transmitted to have a causal effect on the past. The bridge could perhaps be expanded sufficiently to transmit a self-replicating nanomachine to the past. This nanomachine could also perhaps expand the bridge from the other side to allow humans to travel to the past as well. Also, assuming that M theory is true, this might also end up creating an alternate universe or creating a bridge to an already-existing universe. This whole thing might cost anywhere from $10,000,000,000 to $60,000,000,000 or more. Such machinery could also perhaps be used to gather dark matter, and probably be used to access exotic matter--going so far as to produce zero-point energy.

Or something like that. Maybe. I dunno. I don’t remember the details anymore. Did any of that make any sense? I was probably experiencing some sort of a manic episode when I came up with all of that shit. Whatever.

Just finished "The Draughtsman's Contract" (1982) by Peter Greenaway. A great movie in all aspects: the music, the dialogue, the acting, the scenery etc. If you love the lavish and an intriguing story, this movie is for you. I can't find any weaknesses, so I rated it 10/10.

From 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. Other routines are from 45 min. to 1 hour, this one is the longest.

Watch out for rotator cuff injuries, they are the most common when doing wrong chest exercises. The same principle he posted for dumbbells applies for barbells too. I also recommend you research about the scapular function when doing chest exercises so you can get a better form and technique.
