I heard an opinion the most devoted communists died in the war because they fought selflessly for the bright future and peace. So, the country had more professional idiots (the word is not to insult them at all) who are great smart people and do their job brilliantly, but weak in terms of politics and ideology.

School is a prison where you are forced to go. Also for young people everything in that jungle is what is important for them, they treat school life like society itself. Thus, if you are bottom barrel/rejected by society, you feel like burning it down.
Work place is different, it is just one part of your whole life, and you can quit anytime you want. You are not imprisoned there, unlike mandatory school.

I often pick up bands from movies or shows soundtracks, then I follow those bands and checking who they cooperate with, maybe checking out production labels they're on.
You can also subscribe to soundcloud/bandcamp of band you like and follow their recommendations.
