I walked 5km back from the supermarket with a 10kg sack of botatoes on my shoulders.

I'm hesitant to return because of the incompetence arising from containing the pandemic but also the vicious stranglehold of authoritarian measures recently suggested to limit provincial travel. I'm not okay paying 5k to remain in a quarantine centre and there's no chance of me getting a stable job without traveling to my usual seasonal route vis hitchhiking.
All of these small issues become a struggle when I can simply bypass this mess and go somewhere warmer and cheaper. I'm also fearful of the current state of the Canadian economy. My last remaining CAD I own is always on my person, meaning I can't exchange it without immigration or the nz tax agency potentially taxing me.
I'm not even giddings when I think about converting to Islam solely for a career and the benefits of a community.
Pros: Stable well paying job slaughtering cows and possible sponsorship allowing me to stay longer in the NZ.

Do you really have to convert in order to get into this social circle? In Germany there are, I'm not sure how to translate it best, culture clubs in most towns. Usually Turkish ones that organise barbecues and stuff like that. I'm sure they wouldn't be opposed to someone interested in their culture coming in.
