Hello old friends, I'm glad I found you. The answer to OP's question is nationalist revolution. Stop letting rich globalists cuck the workin' man, businesses must be regulated to prevent them from acting against the interests of the nation and its citizens. You know those zhidskis will do it every chance they get.

Free market capitalism is the best thing that has happened to humanity and has lifted up billions and billions of people from extreme poverty and will continue doing so. We need more capitalism, not less.

All extremes are bad, Bernd.
I like what we have in Germany, though a little less help for lazy people who don't even want to work wouldn't hurt.

I agree that we're in desperate need to remove current governments that subsidize our level of economic outcomes and instead replace them with benevolent corporate syndicates.

Capitalism is just basically free trade with free will, it's like a current of water flowing. What we as civilized humans need to do is regulate it so me minimize damages and maximize gains for our species and planet.
Meaning we regulate things like food industry; selling poison to customers should be illegal and regulated, destroying environment should be illegal et cetera, you get the point?
Irregulated industry will of course maximize profits and minimize expenses as any profit looking company does and we end up like in the old days, arsenic in candies, poisoned milk, lead/poison in wallpapers making people mad.

No, there's 3 forces: the people, government and companies.
Companies are should not be viewed as anything else than tools, they are there to make money, and will form monopolies (very unhealthy for free market capitalism, removes competition) if they can and don't care if they are enslaving people and keeping them in horrible circumstances.
Horrible governments also exist, a bigger government is not usually there to maximize the interest of its people, instead the governments is looking out for itself. And if we are not careful, the government will work together with corporations against the people, known as fascism.
What me must do is make sure the benefit of the people is what matters, and have a minimized government that doesn't control your life and instead keeps the companies and itself in check. Your freedom is not theirs to give, their job is to make sure nobody infringes your freedoms.
What we live in today is something completely different - we have central banks with immense powers to print out money and manipulate everything, and in the end we live in a strange planned economy capitalism where the rich have socialism; the tax payers ensure to pay if something would happen to their fortune, this is what we saw during financial crisis of 2008 and again in corona crisis. We printed out money and that transferred to the pockets for those that have the money to own stocks, and now we will see the price increase in prices for everything.
What I would like to see, real free market capitalism (still regulated though) where some unelected bankers, byroucrats and politicians behind closed doors control the system. There should be minimal intervention and only to remove harmful trash, like companies poisoning people.

Any large enough entity is freedom limiting to a degree.
A well run government should at least be able to offer economies of scale that are cost-beneficial the services provided by most businesses except for the mega multi-national corps.

Another, random point I would like to make - free choice as a consumer doesn't really exist, marketing and advertising have been refined to the point that product are no longer willed into existence by customer demand, but rather customer demand is willed into existence by product.

>No, there's 3 forces: the people, government and companies.
Wrong, government is a companies tool to control wageslaves.

Yes, the size needs to be kept in check. Unfortunately many people who are unable to take care of themselves want a massive government.
The government should be kept eyes on, resources must be used to keep it transparent so the people can follow what they are doing and minimized corruption. Same thing with police and other forces - they need to be kept an eye on. Unfortunately they want to be able to do what they want and only keep an eye on the people, it needs to be the other way around.

I think free choice for an individual can be hard to make true in some cases, but if enough people want something for a lower price, the companies are forced to create it through competition. Monopolies block this. The way we have social media today needs to be broken down. The way Parler was taken down is a sign of monopoly dominance, but I think they are slowly losing power if people are motivated enough to work for creating options.

Free markets will help to create more options, here, before EU, we had a lot of cartels in different industries deciding what prices were and so on. Competition forces them out of existence and frees the consumer.
Competition is tough, and it's always the losers that suffer, just like today there's more competition on the dating markets because of Tinder; the succeeding winners are highly wanted, both female and males, and they benefit largely. The losers are the already not really wanted lower tier males and also females.

That is only if the balance of power favour companies > government.
If companies would do whatever they want they wouldn't need to lobby and corrupt law makers to make favourable laws for them, in your world they would just hand out commands.
TurkeyBernd2021-05-05 11:43:58 · 5yNo. 114138reply
>in your world they would just hand out commands.
That is exactly what they do.
Lobbying is a tool of monopolies to get rid of smaller competitors and solidify their power.
FinlandBernd2021-05-05 12:10:28 · 5yNo. 114139reply

Politicians create laws that are unfavourable for companies all the time. Biden is now planning on creating a massive tax hike for company profits.
Companies also compete with each other all the time and have no loyalty towards each other. Lobbying is a normal way of corruption, you are overestimating the power of companies, they aren't that powerful and run by masterminds playing 4d chess.

Thinking it's some talking head politician(sometimes actors/housewifes and even CLOWNS) making real decisions and big companies literally owning everything around you is just obeying them is... naive?

In Russia or Turkey everything is owned probably by oligarchs. Here the ownership of private citizens is somewhat protected and not much is owned by these big bad companies.
Politicians like to seize land however from private citizen ownership for their projects and to benefit the local towns budget at the cost of the citizens, many of them being wealthier land owners.
Did you also know that a big chunk of the world economy consists of companies outside the stock markets where these big monopolies usually reside? And publicly traded companies have strict laws and rules they must follow, it gets very difficult to be hiding ownership of anything
