It's very irritating, but you won't really see it too much outside of imageboards. And the funniest thing is gay shit has been around movies and television since the 70s or 80s and earlier and nobody was as outraged as those 4channers are today whenever a new movie gets a black lead role or a new show has a homosexual couple. However there is also some shitty productions these days that just but some LGBT stuff in it just because in hopes of looking progressive and selling better, shit like that female Ghostbusters reboot and whatnot
