While I only had one Tinnitus sound all my life, for two months now I have several different sounds. Shrieking, buzzing, some times deafening loud. I still can't rule out some sounds are actually emitted by a malicious device whose purpose is to drive me to suicide. Ear plugs do not help. They make it worse and yet I still wear them.
Silence will never be the same again.
I do hope I will go deaf and it will be dead quiet in the end.

Another thing I have found that temporarily helps against tinnitus is closing your ears and then focusing your attention to the tinnitus sound, as if trying to make out where it's coming from. Ifyou go through every component of your tinnitus in this way you can shut it out for some time. Takes maybe 30-60 seconds for each component of T to be shut out
I want to get a new passport but for some reason photo booths do not seem to exist anymore.
So I just had to spend several hours so get the light just right in my flat to make a photo of myself. Then spend more time removing the background on my computer and ordered online on some webpage that was able to show me if my photo fits the guidlines of being biometric. Now I have to wait several days until it arrives.
It used to be possible to just sit in a machine to get a biometric photo in minutes.
