I'm about to hit you with an out of this world hypothetical.
Islam and it's prophet Muhammad appears just after the completion of the Talmud in Jew occupied Babylon (~600 AD), which explicitly outlines Rome and Persia as enemies of Jews.
Mohammad, the Arab hordes and Islam were Instrumental in destroying the twin powers of Rome (Byzantium) and Persia, who had both become politically immune to Jewish subversion.
Byzantium had completely barred Jews from finance, moneylending, holding political office or educating the young. It was completely immune to Jewish subversion. Meanwhile Sassanian Persia under Khosrow II enacted strong anti-Jewish policies that barred the construction of Synagogues, whilst simultaneously being light on Christians due to his wife Shirin being a Christian. These were the two world powers of the age.
Just prior to the rise of Islam, there was a massive war where both Persia and Byzantium fought idiotically until their treasuries had been completely and utterly depleted and their armies were both destroyed, fighting ostensibly over a small stretch of land in Eastern Anatolia. Just after this massive world conflict, the storm of Islam rips most of Asia Minor and North Africa away from Byzantium and floods and destroys Zoroastrian-Christian Persia, both of whom are bankrupt and defenseless.

Jews had always had a massive presence deep into the Arabian peninsula as merchants, which was just to the South of them. And in all their Talmudic teachings, it is said a "far off power" will destroy Edom and Ishmael (in Talmudic schizointerpretation, those are Rome and Persia). Put two and two together and with the Arab tribes to the South, Jews could have easily found their "far off power".
Mohammad indeed picked some fairly odd fundamentals for his religion that seem to be copypastas of Talmudic Judaism
Tawhid = A near copy of the Shema
Halal = A close copy of Schechita / Kosher
Sharia = A version of Halakhah
Riba is derived in name and form from the Prohibition of Ribit
Jihad = A close copy of Milkhemet Mitzvah/Milkhemet Reshut
Taqiyya = see the rabbinics but the practice of Leshon Hakmah is an example of it
Despite the modern hostility due to Israel, Jews historically were vastly less hostile to Muslims than to Christians and helped them to invade Christian countries multiple times, like the Moor invasion of Visigothic Spain, the Jewish expulsions from Castille / modern Spain being triggered by Jews being caught assisting the Grenada Caliphate, and the Donmeh supporting Ottoman campaigns in the Balkans. A lot of Islam is just blatantly ripped off of talmudic rabbinical Judaism. Even the Muslim forbidding of Usury was not universal like with Christianity but only applies to fellow Muslims, whilst non Muslims can always be charged usurious rates (Just like how Jews operate). Because of Islam's values, it was historically very easy for a Jew to pretend to be a Muslim. Jews are permitted to pray in a Mosque and not a Church.
