Even though the architect made his career doing work for the fascist Italian government and also was ideologically aligned to fascism, this building is considered the prime and best example of rationalist modernist architecture.
People flock and peregrinate to it, people praise and worship, among these people a majority of left leaning architects, theorists, students and appreciators.
Isn't this strange? How a building can be associated of the ideology behind it, even when it was a literal fascist party meeting hall?
