Many ideas now replaced with Eurocentric ones founded by Christianity. The old way of the gods, the spirits, and Mother Earth are now gone reduced to nothing but myths. At heart only the tools and ideas change ones that they persevered through never forgotten. They are not extinct, and the changing world never killed them they just evolved

still i think does it mean you shouldn't do anything in order to not have desires? or you just shouldn't have high hopes in order to not be disappointed later?
