this is considered hunting here. climbing a ladder into a little murderbooth and sniping at the animal while they think it is safe.

Wolves are not overabundant. They were literally extinct in Germany for hundreds of years and now only a few dozen are here.

Hunting is not a sport you should lose, because that means needlessly injuring an animal. This is not the movie Predator. Hunters are expected to kill with every shot to reduce needless suffering of animals and potential danger to others. It has to be made as easy as possible for the hunter.

Why do Turkish women always walk 2 meters behind their husbands?

When I see Turkish couples, middle aged or elderly, walking on the street, the women always walks 2 or 3 meters behind the husband. They don't talk or look at each other, the man just walks and the woman follows like a dog or something. Why is that?

I noticed a gypsy couple doing the same thing here. The gypsy male was walking in front of her and babbling in his cellphone and she was following him silently a few meters behind. She did have a 0,5l of coca-cola though.

There was this small pub in the middle of Prague very close to our hostel and they brewed their own beer there inside the pub, it was delicious. This was around 10 years ago and I have afterwards tried to locate the pub, but on Google Maps everything seems to have changed over there.

Also I remember walking around and some local girl walked over to us and wanted to sell us drugs while a fugging police car was parked like 50 meters behind her, I assumed it was some sort of a trap so we quickly walked away.
Some shady slavic looking guys like from a movie also tried some trick where they wanted to change some coins I guess, I bet they would have taken our wallets if we dug them out, so we retreated from that inside a small shop.

Now that I think about it, I loved the free alcohol laws; you could buy beers in the middle of the night anywhere, even from a wending machine (over here you can't buy alcohol after 9pm anywhere else besides bars/restaurants).

Soviet union was full of corruption (proof you stopped believing in communism in the first place), you failed to implement communism in Afghanistan, realizing other people had different visions and prioritizes, Afghanistan almost negates any objective belief in progress. It all fell apart, few had any hopes for the future utopia. Both soviets and russians are more selfish and individualist than westerners because of marxism. The great irony.

Also had to take afternoon nap the next day.
It's annoying but it's short, and it's convenient (you can plan ahead when you'll be feeling sick) so I'd still rate it as better experience than catching the virus at unknown point in the future and shrugging it off like it's nothing due to being young & healthy.

The first one, the two OVAs and the movies are in this one:
https://nyaa.si/view/913654
I downloaded it this week without issues. Already had an old version of the original one, but I was missing the prequels and movies. Currently 30 episodes in and enjoy it a lot so far. I had it for years but didn't watch it, because I thought it would ruin other anime for me. Not that I feel like I'm kinda through with the medium, it feels like a farewell.

My recommendations would be:
Legend of the galactic heroes
FMA (original one and brotherhood)
Monster
Great Teacher Onizuka
Mushishi
Baccano

why real estate is skyrocketing while people are dying en masse, society is incelizing and companies still building shit here and there?
FinlandBernd2021-09-26 21:21:27 · 5yNo. 123367reply

Not all real estate skyrocket, mostly happening only where there is demand; the places people are moving to: the cities and their downtowns. They cost that much because someone is willing to pay for it that much.
Here for example Helsinki goes up in price while all apartments in my small town keeps losing value each year.

Not to mention the inflation.

ppl pump the heat to their houses, it actually pays off yet its relatively complex to do and in colder climate basically it doesn't really work (just alone.... probably still saves few bucks when the weather is better)
