It was bright and round couple of days ago. And relatively big.

I like the Moon too.
Couple of times I walked in the woods in dark at winter. With the snow reflecting the moonlight it's well lit, with sharp contrasts.
We don't get proper snow sadly for years now.

>We don't get proper snow sadly for years now.
Yes, I remember when I was a child there was so much snow outside, people played hockey, made snowmans, kids were jumping on the ice in shallow puddles to crack it and built fortresses out of snow, but I grew up and now I see that children barely have snow to even play snowballs. Never ever in my life I thought, that I was born priveleged to experience an actual winter.

The moon has been out during the day here too quite a bit. I always liked that. I find myself staring at it when I’m at work quite a bit during the day.
Same where I grew up. I always wonder if it seemed like more snow because I was a small child, or if there’s really less now. Seems like there were times for months straight the ground was covered. Not do much anymore

I need new slurs but I'm not creative enough, here are the following groups I want them for

1.Overly religious and conservative jews
2.Self hating white people/people who demand white people to apologize for existing.
3.People who are sexually fluid but obviously are so due to the zeitgeist and not because of who and what they really are.
4.Wanna be commies from rich western countries.
5.Spainiards

>You mean the -ie -ye endings? Or maybe you mean rhythm?
Rhythm is probably a better word to describe it. I'm actually stretching when I say that they rhyme, strictly speaking they don't rhyme, but just the feeling when they are spoken is so close to that and if a common person were asked they would answer that they kinda rhyme even if not really.
>I know what you mean, but I have to add that maybe having three parents is more optimal in the eye of the marxists...
Lol
>Perhaps there is a way to Anglocise them.
I bet there is, I once read some rant with slurs in a similar style, but I don't have a required proficiency with a language to do this. I can read or write or talk, but I can't tell if my attempts would look and sound natural, that's why I didn't bothered with Anglocizing them to begin with.

>Especially the "tan + sooty" part. In Hungarian we sometimes use the idiom "hyperpigmentated" or referring to someone who might have gypsy ancestors that he "didn't got his tan by the Sun". Perhaps this could be transplanted to English well and use it to Spanish or other Mediterranean people too.
Maybe, though hyperpigmentated specifically sound a bit too scientific to my ear, probably sounds normal to people who natively speak English. But I guess that "tansooty" or "sootytan" doesn't really sound good either.

I drank a bit of alcohol today and a few hours later wanted to instinctively blame my non alcohol problems on it (like my nervous system is messed up but alcohol is a plausible excuse)
Is this what addicts to anything go through? Like you get a secondary benefit of some kind and you just don't admit it to yourself. Then the actual physical addiction happens if it's substances etc
RomaniaBernd2025-11-20 16:11:00 · 7mnNo. 351125reply
Another example from my experience, but without alcohol. I spoke to a girl that was "stalked" by some guy she met on 4chan. He was coming onto her pretty hard and somehow pressuring her to reveal her personal info like where she lives etc. He was also manipulative in the sense that he threatens to suffer a lot if she leaves. (kek)

So she was panicky and didn't know what to do and kept speaking to him until she got brave enough to drop him.

Now I didn't really understand why she did it.
The thought pattern of hers was bizzare to me. In hindsight it was probably like alcohol to some people. Sharing personal info is obviously bad but it was some form of intimacy she couldn't get anywhere else? so weird
ArgentinaBernd2025-11-20 18:16:15 · 7mnNo. 351127reply
Yeah I suppose it is normal among addicts. But you have to also keep in mind that people often abuse substances because of boredom or to cope with problems that they are burdened in their lives.
I don't know about your friend, but I suppose that you already told her to normalize blocking people more often
RomaniaBernd2025-11-20 20:10:06 · 7mnNo. 351128reply
>boredom
I did hear remote villages have bigger drinking problems for that reason
>cope with problems that they are burdened in their lives
yeah I guess what I described is a form of coping. another thing I heard is Vietnam vets abused drugs but as soon as they came back home their addictions were much easier to treat or even gone

I knew these things in abstract but I never experienced how it actually looks.
HungaryBernd2025-11-20 20:40:36 · 7mnNo. 351131reply
>boredom
It's a spiral too. Those who drink out of boredom gonna have less tolerance for boredom and they reach for the bottle more easily.
Boredom is needed to be treated by creativity, not with alcohol.
We have a saying: the ox drinks alone. Drinking alone is often a sign of alcoholism. Bernds are often solitary so they have to be extra careful.

Some say that the end of the day, just before sleep we should look back and find three things (or more if we can, no harm in that) from that day that made us feel good. These can be quite simple even, like a good meal, or even a breath of fresh air, a moment of peace. But we should think and concentrate on these things, and quiet the rest of the memories.
This thread is for the evenings similarly. To look back and think about something nice and pleasant.
