Because Windows really is shit, both in usability, and what can be done with it, and yes in the freedom RMS preaches about (I really agree with him in this).
I left Windows in 2008. Since then I use various Linux distros. I still helping out people friends, family, acquaintances with their computer stuff, and I nearly get braindick every time I have to sit 10+ minutes in front of Windows, so unusable. I converted a handful of people already to Linux (even women), and I won't stop doing that.
I don't game that much, I do more "work", and I enjoy such theoretical brain-teasers like the crap I wrote about the TES and F games. Last time I installed Skyrim, instead of playing I started to write a mod manager bash script. Then I stopped because I lost interest in Skyrim. Maybe one day I'll finish it. The script I mean.

Being not dependent on water would be great tbh.

I had this once at a bosnian restaurant. it was in a really weird location in an unpaved lot behind a strip mall. when I pulled up the owner and his friends were drinking and smoking out front and seemed surprised I was walking in
he seemed really irritated I was there and said "what you want? you want cevapi?" and I said "uh sure"
the whole time I was there everyone seemed annoyed with my presence but the cevapi was tasty
I received a $120 check as a settlement from some lawsuit involving a conspiracy to raise the price of canned tuna. I never knew of or participated in this lawsuit but since I was classified as a low income resident of the state that sued the tuna companies at the time, I get my share of the settlement
I thought it was some kind of scam at first but apparently it's legit as I discovered after a bit of research. anyway, what should I spend the $120 on?

im still here. there are a few bernds who still post on kiwifarms if you're interested in that.
some are on kohl, as others have said, but that is too depressing for me at this point. i think this board is for people not well-adjusted to leave ibs entirely but also not descended enough to enjoy kohl.
