I work as IT and I want to progress to be a sys admin at some point in the next 2 years but it seems like the demands keep getting less and less realistic in terms of experience and technologies(A lot of places are looking for a DevOps under the title of sys admin).
Is this the sames in your country as well?(or in your field of work)

Here, depending where you get a job as a sysadmin, they expect you to be a general technician who does all kinds of electricity related work, from running the computer part through setting up projectors for presentations to change lightbulbs and fixing the coffee machine.
But yeah, if in specifically IT I do heard in general form around the world that they seek devops instead, and devving is becoming normal sysadmin work... Tho in a way it is, let's say if you run a linux server you should be able to develop your own tools to take care of stuff, at minimum with writing bash scripts and automating stuff with it.

what's not realistic?
if you want to find employment as an old school sysadmin that becomes more and more unlikely by the day, devops IS sysadmin in 2025.
but i dont get why you think that getting devops knowledge is somehow harder than old school sysadmin knowledge. it's literally the other way around.
