Thing is, people can find crap to feel bad about (and crap finds them as well) despite they have money, fame, and power, so having a potentially frustrating 10 year and end it with a suicide is not something comfy to look forward to.
Well perhaps after that frustrating 10 years you would beg for the chance to kill yourself.
All in all, I think I'll pass.
you are given the opportunity to live life to its fullest for 10 years and then you get to do something people will remember for a long time afterwards, how can you say no to this? Really, there's got to be something wrong with the way that I think or something because it to me seems like the best opportunity I've ever considered.

I recommend you to do something with your life because must be boring as hell if you think you can only "live life to the fullest" if you have unlimited money and power. For the great majority of interesting things one can do doesn't need a lot of money at all.
All successful people are either sociopaths or compulsive anxiety ridden wrecks who need over 9000 people to prop them up and a kg prozac per day to look confident and collected.
If you aren't ruthless bastard, and suddenly you get bunch of money and lamplight you'll get conned and exploited by others for their own gain.

With such a hypothetical, you're really arguing against the spirit of the post/idea/deal.
If you wanted to play "gotcha", then I could argue OP didn't say "a livestream of your seppuku is aired", but rather it says "YOU have to do it", and not you have to make believe it happened, you have to show the actions on TV while you sit comfortably still alive, whatever.
