Here that's just a croissant, I think "medialuna" here is something like a sandwich which has that shape with ham and cheese inside but idk since I do not eat food like that frequently.
i don't know what kind of people you know but here in BW we pronounce it the french way. ofc not 100% the same because we're no frenchies but wtf who says krozong?
Perhaps it is because many of us had french in school?
I believe that those are referred to as "croissants" in the United States. Part of the cuisine offered by the renowned inventor of nachos, hamburgers, and pizzas named "Jose Luis de la Vega" in the year 1977.
Trying to emulate the french tongue instead of just saying it in german is cultural appropriation and thus highly problematic. Pls be more sensible in the future pls.
