i do some bodyweight hiit. i gained a bit of mass but sometimes i wonder if forgetting about general athleticism and just goint all out on gains might be the better choice to attract females.

>>224602
Do not worry about females, worry about yoruself and your own bodily strength. Reject wenches, embrace yourself.

>>224662
So much this! Don't do it for female attention or other people, do it for yourself, to become strong.

Yes. I lift three times ans weeks and run two times a week for half an hour. It keeps the depression at bay.

No.
Haven't read the thread either, and not going to.

I lifted for a while but I realized that using machines you can't really get buff so I stopped
I might go back into it later on when I have access to free weights that give a muscle pump after working out that I desire

>>226817
Lifting is good for your body though. Doesn’t matter if you get buff.

no

>>226867
Start lifting, then join Belarusian spetsnaz

Yes. I love to suffer in the gym while listening to loud music. It makes me feel alive. The highlight of my day.

sissy why do you shave your belly and tits

>>226958
My daddy likes it when I am completely shaven
I have barely any hair growth on my chest. Only a couple hundred hairs. It looks stupid when they get really long and takes no effort to shave them off
>>226817
> but I realized that using machines you can't really get buff so I stopped
Lies! All you need to do to get big is really heavy compound movements until you cant do them anymore. The rest is eating enough. You can totally do that with machines. Just dont waste your time on isolation movements.

>>226960
Ahh sissy….

>>226964
>All you need to do to get big is really heavy compound movements until you cant do them anymore.
I did this for a period of time and while I was able to lift heavier than before I had no progress in the appearance of the muscles, I also got no pump from the exercises after a while. I was lifting heavy, I even surpassed my own bodyweight but it really didn't feel like I was getting any bigger.
That versus lifting weights, I got pumped everytime I lifted weights rather than using machines, I'm going to keep working out later on when I am under conditions that allow for it.

>>227085
Pump means nothing. As long as you get stronger you did something right. Evtl you will stall and then you will have to eat more to still get stronger. And then you will grow. You will grow.

>>227087
Pump means everything to someone who is looking for visible muscle mass.
The way I was getting stronger was similar to how a powerlifter gets stronger, I would need to lift insanely much and eat a lot in order for me to gain significant mass in that situation. I don't want to be a powerlifter, I want visible muscles that don't necessarily make me that much stronger, and for that a pump is essential. I don't care much for functional strength, I am looking for visible muscles and for that stuff like curls and other weights exercises are necessary. I aim for being lean but muscular, not powerlifter body.

>>227089
>Pump means everything to someone who is looking for visible muscle mass.
It's don't. Here is some random article from google about pump training vs strength training.
The essence is that strength training is just more efficient than pump training because it takes less time
>I would need to lift insanely much and eat a lot in order for me to gain significant mass in that situation.
Muscles are made of something and If you want to gain muscle you have to eat a lot. There is no difference in the style of training. Look at bodybuilding videos on youtube - they are mostly about eating. Training is secondary. Maybe even tertiary after the drugs they take.

>>227182
training is never tertiary. top athletes takes those drugs so they can compete with other top athletes. fitness influences take those drugs because they dumb :DDDDD

Lifted this morning.

I lifted a beer case yesterday

>>227370

>>227344
>fitness influences take those drugs because they dumb :DDDDD
You can't get shredded without roiderinos and you can't compete for clicks if you are not shredded. If you make a living with your body you have no chance without roids.
Even top bodybuilders can't lift more than 4-5 hours a day. So training is more like a part time job for them. I doubt that training does make such ans difference in the top level. It's more about the drug cocktails they get and how sneaky they can inject their synthol.

>>227378
>Even top bodybuilders can't lift more than 4-5 hours a day. So training is more like a part time job for them.
That's still a lot of time to me.
Every time I see someone who is shredded I can't help but think about the amount of time they invested in looking the way that they do, there could have been so much more different things they spent their time doing instead of working out that I sometimes wonder if it is even worth it to become that shredded.
Maybe I am just weak willed, but it feels like overkill to me.

>>227391
>That's still a lot of time to me.
If you can make a living out of it it is half the time that an average wageslave has to spend.
>I sometimes wonder if it is even worth it to become that shredded.
There are no upsides to being shredded if you can't earn money from it. It's bad for your health, expensive, and takes a lot of time. Also you have to poop several times a day because you have to eat so much.

Going to the gym.

Coming home from gym.

>>227825
Not him, but
60-90 min training
10-30 min changing and showering
?? min going to gym/home
seems reasonable.

>>227785
I was scared for a moment, that woman looks too much like my mother.

>>227825
I do like 18 different exercises (full body), three sets with 10 reps, 1:30 min rest between them. That already takes a good amount of time. Also 10 min warm up. Then going to and getting home from gym takes 40-60 min (both combined). In only go every second day.

>>227900
If you set up your exercises in a circuit you could reduce rest times to 30 secs because you would train different muscles on consecutive sets saving up to 45minutes of sitting around each workout.

>>227908
I did 30sec rest before, but I’m still unsure which rest time is the best. Sometimes I hear 1:30min rest is better for muscle growth, but I don’t know who to trust.

>>227921
You might get better results per workout but it will of course take way more time.
Imho lifting is more about consistency than about getting as strong as possible in a short amount of time as possible. So it's preferable to do things that makes it easier to consistently lift than to do 8h arms workouts.
It's not really relevant if your get all your Noobgains in 6 months or 9 months.

>>229905
Buyed collagen powder recently. Dunno how reasonable it is though. It shouldn't make much of a difference what type of brotein you take as long as you eat enough of all the amino acids. Body can build all the necessary broteins out of the amino acids itself.

>>229812
My workplace has one, too. You can do circuit training on machines there.
But its more of a lifestyle gym. Always 24-25°C there and big windows that might look good but the sun always burns on you while training. This makes it too hot to make any kind of intensive training.

>>229969
Interdasting, mine is more of a cellar room, so no windows, temperature is pleasant.
