I don't like to predict wars because I feel like it encourages conflict. But in order not to spoil your thread, I would say that eventually, after all the wars that occur, we may end up as a human species.
In this thread we make predictions about the next wars. You can suggest war scenarion, location and sides and how its going to develop. The more obscure or unpredictable scenarion - the better. Since this is a very slow board, we can track predictions and war for years after they were suggested, so we can see if anyone got it right.

First one is the obvious war that is going to start in the next 5 years. Taiwan war. Just type Taiwan war on Youtube and you will see hundreds of very fresh videos pumped up to support this war narrative, someone from state department paid the video creators for these videos, because they thing people need to be educated about where Taiwan is and why it matters.
We all know that its going to happen, no surprises there. Only uncertainty is if Americans will get involved and if China botches it. China can throw a lot of resources at something, but the feedback loop is very weak, time for adapting the strategy and realizing its not working is very long and Chinese don't like to admit mistakes. Its possible they would send thousands and thousands to storm one beach which is heavily mined and with Taiwanese artillery aimed directly at this beach. They are going to throw more and more people there, not willing to admit that they probably need to change a strategy.

I feel like the Korea War (which technically never ended) might get a new outbreak of violence.
Since Biden became president NK has started doing a lots of tests of nukes again. And the new president of South Korea seems to be anti-peace and pro-militarizing Korea even more and even getting South Korean nuclear weapons from the US unlike Moon which was pacifist and seeked to slowly reunify Korea in a peaceful way.
North Korea seems to be in harsh conditions because they were already a extremely closed distopian society and it became even more closed and distopian with the COVID pandemic so I guess they don't have much to lose if they decide to go in rampage against South Korea.
yeah, Korean war is also possible eventually. I just don't have imagination to think of the year 2050 and thinking that North Korea exists in this year. So it might get resolved before that, and some external actors might get involved.

The NATO invasion of Venezuela was a real possibility in 2018-2019. The good thing is that it didn't happen because it would have ended up like another Iraq-like shithole afterwards and would have caused problems that would eventually spread to the rest of the continent like a South American equivalent to the ISIS and bullshit like that. If I recall correctly people in the army and the government were mongering for the war to happen a lot but Trump stopped them and ignored their demands and focused on sanctions instead.
Another plan to invade Venezuela was in 2001 with the Operation Balboa when Chavez was still president, it almost came to fruition in 2002 when the failed coup happened but since it failed it didn't happen (the plan was that if the coup was successful and there was resistance to defend Chavez the NATO would intervene invading from Colombia.

It is almost as if the Crimea invasion and the mini-civil war in Donbass were to cook up a kind of tension that would progressively escalate until it exploded and waited to give Ukraine time to arm itself and moralize its population. It is clear that this whole war was being planned by the (((them))) from the shadows for a long time."
