Reports are false but point of those reports is to sow distrust by playing to their paranoia in Russia.

So, Putin will read US intel and believe he's being withheld info, even if he actually isn't.

This will accelerate purges and contribute to weakening Russia.

"Weapons of mass destruction" is a very subjective term, to some my dick might be a weapon of mass destruction, doesn't mean I don't have it. Saddam certainly had something I was talking about US intelligence regarding Ukraine of course
