also, in 2029 the asteroid Apophis will make the closest pass of Earth on April 13. And its going to be friday. Friday 13th.

There is going to be an eclipse in december 31 of 2028 in big parts of Eurasia. Its literally going to be on the edge of two years. In some places of China and Russia as the clock would strike 00:00 and the New year will officially begin - the Moon will be red in the sky.
I think its kinda cool, but also scary. What a rare coincedence.
The 25th March is Lady Day (the end of the tax year) but this used to fall on what is now 11th April, which is called Old Lady Day. Celestial events are outside the scope of human control, but our dating systems are fickle and liable to change.
Also, isn't the planet's spin decreasing incrementally each year? In 2500 it will have slowed enough to warrant a calendar change I would wager (I wont be alive to check)
