i also see a lot of roads in third world countries and what types of vehicles are driving on those shitty roads, its part of my shitty job. China's economy is big and complex organism. Where in one industry there is contraction, in other industries there is expansion, but Westoid brain cannot look at China as a whole, always focusing on those negative anecdotal examples, never doing research and thinking that one cherrypicked anecdote defines whole billion people country. You just can't imagine that OUTSIDE of one anecdote, outside of one company facing troubles there are millions companies who are doing fine and even great.

 

Its also a problem of focus - how can one person analyze such a complex economy as Chinese one, with so many enterprises, companies and business going on? You can't, and also - there is no intrest. I said it before - Americans think they are superior to Chinese and dispise them so there is no curiosity to how Chinese live, and that curiosity is required for good faith research. Most Americans think that Chinese are subhuman bugs and with that mindset they don't want to research "the mingling of this subhuman filth", instead Americans looking for those anecdotal proof of their own supremacy in the form of Chinese failures, looking for proof that "those subhumans are failing and are about to meet their destined demise so that the RIGHTFULL order with us superior Westoids on top would prevail".

American do not speak Chinese. Simple as. I already said it before, imagine that someone who DOESN'T speak English begins to analize American politics and economics, while being locked out of all the usefull literature and discourse on the topic.
