The gas chambers produce 100 times as much co2 as all the world's volcanoes do in a year except the gas chambers produce that much gas chamber exhaust in only 3 or 4 days.
The white germans went to PNW before the war ended in 45 because they are accustomed to that terrain where the nazis hide in the alpine resorts. The white germans there never went through denazification.
denazification does not work. Cyanide works.

Some underwater current is making Europe warm
This magical warming effect can disappear in the future, making Europe into very cold place
basically UK, Ireland, Scandinavia all the atlantic cost will be fucked by -5 or -30 degree drop, forests may die, and instead tundra spread

There was an old, non-functional watermill next to my village where the miller reportedly turned into a vampire after his death 100+ years ago and there were stories spread amongst the kids that you could still hear the wheel rotating at night sometimes. We used to go there from time to time when we were wee lads, but there was nothing inside save for regurgitated owl pellets and toads hiding from the daylight. They demolished it later.

Not a famous one obviously, but I have nothing better to offer.
IndonesiaBernd2023-11-30 23:26:56 · 3yNo. 294988reply
At least it's an interesting story to read. Like, you know, story telling but based from our POV.

About me, there's a tower around Cawang, which was built in the end of 90s. It was made by a billionaire who I forgot his name, but the tower was built with luxurious materials imported from Italy, Greece, etc. But one day, during operation in circa 2001/2002 until 2007 (I forgot), there were many mystical troubles like broken lifts, or whatever involving mystical powers in that building. And even after closing in 2008, that building still giving scary mystical auras, such as fictional ojek order, some lamps inside that building are lit even though it's already empty, and many more.

(BTW, the photo on title thread is the tower I meant in this story. It's infamously known as Saidah tower.)
BulgariaBernd2023-11-30 23:39:51 · 3yNo. 294990reply
Interesting, I like such stories from urban areas that are not just replicated folklore tropes.
Is it still abandoned and if yes, are there any plans for it from the local authorities or whoever owns it currently?
IndonesiaBernd2023-12-01 00:44:12 · 3yNo. 294993reply
Yes, Saidah tower is abandoned, but some security staffs still there to guarding the tower. Mayor of south Jakarta had planned to demolish the tower for safety*, but for some reason, the authority haven't yet demolishing the tower.

*I heard that the tower was tilted to several degrees due to potato quality dirt, which was rumored that it was formerly cemetery area.

Decided to go to that Vysiachiy Kamen after a while. Turns out the only trail to it was occupied by some local bydlo burning some trash in the bonfire, so i decided to not approach the local wildlife and walked to my destination by the railway. Remembering those videos of Indians and trains, i was very cautious, but also if you want to get away from the rail lines, you need to get into the woods, where ticks are. So kinda hanged by the side.

Got to the point and its what i expected. Like a cliff edge with protrubing hanging rocks, where people go to take photos. Kinda high and scary if you look down. Trees down below look small.
Also apparently its popular, because when i got there, some guy was there and as soon as i arrived he fucked off, and when i took some photos and started going away, another couple of people came by. These rocks bound to collapse someday from all the visitors and rain.

Also, turns out there are AI applications and sites that allow to identify plants, simply by uploading the photo of said plant - some of them completelly free. I've been walking a lot outside recently, just snapping photos of plants and learning their names and where they come from
