You mean you have an assburger?

I have no wheelchair yet. But I have chronic knee issues that prevent me from doing a bunch of things. It’s not clear that it ever gets better, but there is a chance. Best case I will never need a wheelchair, but some surgeries.
GermanyBernd2020-09-24 09:05:09 · 6yNo. 102826reply
That, too. But it has never prevented me from going outside to my tree frens. Only from going outside among real people.

There's those weird tricyle things you can pedal with your hands.

Thanks. Ironically, I hate biking. But better than nothing I guess. My greatest wish is being able to go hiking all day for several days. I doubt it will ever be possible again without pain and possibly surgeries,

Electronic-assisted bicycles are getting pretty good.

regenerative medicine is gettibg better all the time
In a few years they will be able to fix you

I’m also hoping for this. My doctor said there was something new with a change for improvement, but on the internet I found only criticisms of the method. Surely in a few years it will be better and maybe there will be stem cell treatment or something like that.

Are you still posting here? What is your situation now?

just imagine you can update your wheelchair and make it ride for 200+ km with speed 30-40 km/h, you can also update is and make it offroad. That's kinda cool, people will envy you.

all the disabled hikers(and also alcohol dependent hikers) choose canoeing in Russia
GermanyBernd2021-11-11 17:56:37 · 5yNo. 126680reply
Turns out I'm not permanently disabled. I just have a problematic knee that improved over the last year and to this day I have not been given an understandable diagnosis or treatment, but it still has improved.
CanadaBernd2021-11-11 18:20:46 · 5yNo. 126681reply
Good choice. Alcohol is easier to transport in canoes and hide.
