I drew these when I was bored and I decided to challenge myself by putting the least amount of effort while producing something good looking.

Galerians fan art for anniversaries. 1st pic is for 25th anniversary that I done in 2024 and 2nd pic is for 26th anniversary that I did a month ago when I was ill which resulted in a bad drawing. But I was happy that I at least made something, I would've felt bad if I did nothing at all.

Thanks for the compliment, though I wouldn't say by myself that there is much talent in it. Frame of reference is important to explain this and thankfully we are not isolated in terms of access to art. Anime style is somewhere on the bottom tier when it comes to quality, just remember how renaissance paintings look like and art progressed even more since then. Picrel is the level I want reach and go further beyond. One can draw awesome anime pictures have fans and all that but it actually would be a weak achievement, like an aquarium compared to the ocean.

I guess it wouldn't be bad to post these even if it relies on language.

These are quick MS Paint drawings done for requesters in drawthread on 2ch and I was picking the ones that were funny and/or absurd enough.

This mouse is an oc of a particular artist, he was a cool addition to the our crazy thread at first but later it turned out that he joined to only promote himself and he almost never drew any requests. I don't like him.

I dabbled in "arts" enough to know that most people has little talent to produce anything resembling to art. Frankly its enough to remember back to primary and high school years' drawing classes (hereabout back then it was a mandatory subject, one class each week).

For example many dunk on Hitler's art, but the vast majority of people couldn't draw/paint the same level.

Hmm, do you mean talent as just some level of acquired skill or as predisposition towards something given to people at birth which therefore leads to higher potential ceiling in mastering a skill? I usually use the second definition.

I agree. I'm not an expert in his portfolio, but a few years back I looked up his painting and they looked decent. I know that he had some problems with tutors not liking his works due to contemporary preferences in art of that time period and weren't letting him into art academies but I didn't delved deep into this.

The second definition looks better. Some skills need an inherent predisposition, and the "just stick to it" approach doesn't work - it might not work because he finds it so hard he has no sense of success and gives up due to the lack of positive reinforcement the success gives.

The context is missing, but I can't post the full thing because early pages look like ass. Basically, the story is set in post-apocalypse and people there have weird burial tradition by which they chop off limbs but leave head and torso untouched when they bury the corpse.

Although the main point of it is that it is about scum and their evil lives, so such explanations are just lore rather than attempts at moral justifications. Title of the comic is "Биомусор" which translates as scum, or bio-trash if being more literal.

That one is a bandit. This page featuring him is one of the early ones with a "tolerable" level of quality.

Mc eventually happen to sit in a vehicle together with other people and got atacked by these raiders as they rode to the festival not that far away.

Essentially I just wanted to have a car chase scene in a desert with pirate themed raiders and I wanted a dude on the tower to lean to the sides so its pole would bend and spring chaotically for him to dodge projectiles because that sounds dumb and hillarious. Also, there are a lot of mutants there, hence additional thumbs on his hands.

It's a good enough drawing and you have a characteristic style that fits the setting.

Currently there are 36 pages, it is unfinished and about 15 of them need to be redone to improve quality. Currently I'm fixing old pages, page is 20 as an example.

I want to at least finish with improving quality of early pages before posting the whole thing, this would take about a month or two, although this is more of a guess, because now I have not that much of a free time after my job. Initially I didn't wanted to post it here for a few reasons and a main one was the language. But now I will have to post it all, the only thing I really don't know if I'm going to translate it or not.

Don't worry about it. You don't "have to" do anything.

If you decide to post them, translation might be a good idea, the audience here is international after all. If not, oh well, not big deal either. Gives something to talk about, guessing what they are up to, what's happening.

Yeah, a lot of people see his appearance to be similar to Guts', but actually it was more inspired by Zodd. He is very different from both in terms of temperament though.
