how to write a character so they're not a stereotypical evil prick? does anybody here has a character writing experience?
im tired of character cliche based on their nationality - if its german, then it's obviously a stern always mad jerkass no matter what (like i know its because of impact of wwii but why nobody then makes a chinese being loyal communists? what's wrong?)
my goal is to make a realistic looking character, but something tells me im doomed to write an evil and serious jerkass by accident T_____T
my writing skills are lowkey shit but i spent too much time making panels to give up on this idea

i do, man, thank you for advice though! it feels strange to be unable to write scenarios bc i had an experience with writing little stories and essays before, is that possible to lose skills in something?

You lose every kind of skill if you don't train it actively.
