its because emojis have their own color

the font has to be changed to one that has black emojis when the text is hidden

but you gotta change it back and forth, presumably on the JS side given that this website seems to be handling everything there

Ah I see, that explains it but idk how or if BO will fix it and improve the censorship mechanic.
