BO now for 2-3 weeks my boss is gone and I'll have a lot of spare time at work that I'd usually spend watching YouTube videos and shitposting, but I'd like the challenge of creating an IB engine or expanding the /lite/ board and bernd.group could use a more stable engine.
I'm not really a webdev but I've got some php/sql experience and I think I could do it during the time.

I'd likely redo the engine from scratch in plain PHP + html, using the same database, so both engines can coexist and be used at the same time.
My goal is to get a closer imageboard software to old KC that doesn't break my phone when I tab back in and also gets more posters to this KC.
I'll include javascript aswell but it will be optional and for easier use only, (auto fetching new replies with ajax, etc).
I don't have a main language, I've always been an allrounder. Lately I do a lot of Python.
