As a Californian I agree... The college I attend is all good but society in general here... makes me want to suffer with these people more to see how weak they truly are from their perspective.

los angeles would have a much bigger culture shock.
NY has large immigrant communities and is mostly walkable, while LA is mostly mexicans and white americans
