Based if you are well-off hipster minded metropolitan. Helsinki(at least the central region) is best described as the hipster capital of the world. It's kinda like Berlin, but more obscure, smaller and less known, thus cooler for hipsters.
But if you go too far into the eastern parts of the city, you'll start to see a lot more savannah people, junkies, 50 year old drunks passed out in the bushes etc mixed with some normal but stubborn elderly ladies who bought their apartment there back in the 70s when that area was actually respectable family housing area and now they refuse to leave.
If you want to live in Finland, then Helsinki is only worth it, if you are rich. But at that point you are rich enough to go actually live anywhere on the planet anyway. So no, it's not worth it, unless you are the type of hipster who loves Berlin, but thinks it's too mainstream.
