I often thought that it was inevitable that India would become next problem on the list of Westoids to eliminate, but i figured that this could happen only after-if Westoids defeat China and Russia. In this scenario both Russia and China defeated and then Westoids fix their gaze on India, cripple it, balkanize it and conquer it to not allow any other competition to Western hegemony to rise up again.

 

But now it seems that India might change the timeline and become beligerent and "grabby" much earlier, before Americans can deal with China. This could lead to China-Bharat clash much earlier, but Bharat will have less moral high-ground, less support in the region and a lot of internal problems to deal with.

There is a similar distinction in Russian language.

When we reffer to something we can use 2 words. Rossiyskiy or Russkiy. Rossiyskiy, meaning pertaining to modern Russian Federation multi-ethnic state, and Russkiy meaning ethnically Russian, excluding everyone who is not Russian in the most nationalist way. Russian Federation under Putin avoids using the word Russkiy in many ways, and preffers to use Rossiyskiy to underline ethnic unity of modern Russian federation and to avoid pandering to extreme nationalists.

 

But in India they WANT to pander to extreme nationalists. So when they say Hindu they are in a way excluding non-hindu Indians and everyone else. These obscure language games are really important and should not be overlooked.

Also, i don't think very nationalist India would care about westoids screaching about Swastika. They had figures like Savitri Devi. If you ever hear that she is being brought up in Indian politics, maybe if someone proposes to build statue or temple to her, or return her remains to India, then there is a huge shift.
