Fukushima wasn't only a meltdown, it was a whole city being leveled by extreme catastrophic phenomena. They did the best they could. There must be some very nice corium from it.
 
It was brave and honorable, even for such fascist excuses of human beings as japs, when the older volunteered to the clean up.
