This is another example of the destruction of nature on the coast caused by The Green party here. The island is dying.

 

They are protecting a species of trash birds that threatens whole ecosystems, and that have already destroyed several islands. The plants won't grow back easily, it's tough already for them to manage to grown on the islands exposed to the harsh climate at sea, without having the soil poisoned by the poop from these birds.
