Considering how young people married then, and the Middle Eastern predeliction for child marriages even when compared with contemporary cultures, I wonder how young a child sacrifice actually was, to be considered apart from other sacrifices. Probably about five or six years old, if not younger.

We got snow on Thursday, liek 10 cm deep. Or shallow, depending how you think about it. Considering the lack of snow in recent years 10 cm is an okay amount. Since it's melted a lot however.
Last November too we got some snow. Then got a mild December, a coldish January (no sno), and a mild February. I expect similar settis for this winter.

My point was that not everybody in Latin America is mestizo (amerindian + spanish) but rather it is diverse because it is a region that was settled from many places due to waves of immigrations from many continentes and in some places native people went extinct completely, for example in my country almost nobody is mestizo and most cubans don't have any drop of amerindian blood too because the native caribbean people (tainos) went fully extinct shortly after Columbus came.
It is not okay to try to force a mestizo identity on all Latin Americans and almost everybody that does this is not from this region and knows little to nothing about it, in certain way it is somewhat discriminatory.
There are lot of "brown" people in Latin America that don't really have any native ancestors at all, Amerindians are not the only "brown" people out there but also lot of these "brown" people are of mixed black-european origin or from arab origin, even from pure european stock since europeans are not all blonde and blue-eyed of pale skin. For example a lot of italians and spaniards have slightly brown skin (see Rosalia) because the mediterranean is not the same as northern europe, mediterranean europeans typically have tanned skin and dark hair and eyes.
Being Hispanic is not equal to being a mestizo by the way, because Hispanic means spaniard or portuguese in fact people of amerindian origin are hardly Hispanic because as I said being Hispanic is being spanish.
And finally about the rape thing if we get really serious then everyone is a rapebaby, Africans raped each other in tribal conflicts, and the mongol hordes of Genghis Khan raped most of Asia and all of Eastern Europe. Whenever I'm in a store that has mayo packets in the open I just grab a few even if I'm not buying something that they would expect one to use mayo packets with. Some might call this stealing, but the cost of a mayo packet is around 15-20 cents, and I'm more likely to visit and make a purchase for my other needs at an establishment that has free mayo packets so I'd say it's a mutually beneficial relationship.

I'm not really sure, I try not to take so many at once to abuse the privilege of open access to mayo packets because then they might decide to keep them behind the deli counter where you have to ask for them (many stores do this)
I try to take around 2-4 packets per store visit, if I know I'm gonna be making tuna salad soon then I'll up the take to 5-6

I want to address the part of Hitler's paintings. Lot of criticism is directed towards it, I saw even Bernd shat on them when the topic came up, or someone posted them.
The matter of fact is they aren't bad.
When it comes to drawing or painting 90% of the population is stuck at a 5yo's doodling, and they couldn't produce anything nowhere close to what Hitler painted. Yes, it is also a fact that as artistic works, they aren't special, and from a "professional" point of view "professionals" I put these in quotes for we are talking about artists... can form justified criticism. This is why he applied to college so he could learn more about art, and how to develop his artistic style. To get formal education, and get better. This was denied from him. So that justified criticism is not that much justified, since he was a young amateur whose style isn't matured yet.
Those pictures aren't bad, they are shat on because they were made by Hitler.
