There's also arachidonic acid. But this is an odd one, because whether you need to eat it or not depends on a genetic polymorphism – some people barely synthesise their own and need to consume it (with meat), while others do and may even have too much arachidonic acid if they do eat red meat. Arachidonic acid is important in brain function and muscle growth, but is also a precursor to inflammation markers, so having too much arachidonic acid causes inflammation (and this is why there's very mixed results whether red meat causes cancer – it depends purely on what population it is tested on).
And regarding racial differences, overwhelming majority of Europeans have the carnivore allele, while overwhelming majority of Indians have the herbivore allele. Elsewhere it is more evenly distributed.
