at least in germanistan nobody gives a shit about your personal projects. A gap in your CV were you did personal projects looks worse than everything you might have created as your personal project. People have better things to do than look at your Hello World program in your github profile.
I would rather do some code bootcamps where they give you ans certificate at the end of it. Then you can show it as proofs of your ability to the HR monkey. Doing some courses is also a more efficient way to learn as much as possible in as little amount of time as possible. You might learn a lot if you do some complex personal project from start to finish but this takes really lot of work and time which won't be rewarded appropriately.
Here the easiest way to get a programming job would be to start studying CS. Then you should look out for working student positions at once. A working student costs a company next to nothing so they will take you even if you have no skills at all as long as you appear to be somewhat intelligent. Make sure that it is a position were you actually can program and not test or do monkey work. This way you can earn money and gain real work experience right from the start. Best way would be to get ans bachelors and then get a real job but you can also just fuck around in university and do your working student thing for a couple of years. Then take your working student experience and apply for code monkey jobs without university degree.
that's interesting, because here bootcamps are a bit of a meme, and people often make fun of those who pay for them; and employers actually look at projects (if you manage to get an interview, that is; also, projects should be something more complex than a hello world lel; that's how I got my first job after uni)

Man goes on shooting rampage after losing battle with wife
<A man believed to be trying to take revenge on his former spouse went on a shooting spree on Thursday, killing at least three people before taking his own life. The incident occurred in the town of Krymsk in Russia’s southern Krasnodar Krai Region.
<According to Telegram channel Mash, the suspect was a 66-year-old man named Vladimir Zhirov, who had snapped after losing a court battle with his ex-wife over an apartment she had allegedly purchased for their son using her husband’s money. After a three-year legal process, the court reportedly refused to grant Zhirov an expected share of the property.
<The man then started pursuing his former wife and issuing threats, according to media reports. On Thursday afternoon, Zhirov chased her into a shopping center, threatening her with a long rifle covered with what appears to be a large towel.
<After the woman asked bystanders for help, Zhirov opened fire and went down the street shooting people at random. According to law enforcement officials who spoke with TASS, at least three people were killed and one man was wounded in the incident, which was caught on video.
