Bernd had always struggled to fit in. As a person on the autism spectrum, he found it difficult to connect with others and often felt isolated and misunderstood. Despite this, he had a number of passions that kept him engaged and fulfilled, including history, science, and video games.
One person who consistently made Bernd's life difficult was Normie, a "normie" who seemed to take pleasure in bullying and belittling Bernd. Normie had a large group of friends and seemed to think he was better than everyone else, including Bernd.
Despite the constant teasing and ridicule from Normie, Bernd refused to let him get the better of him. He knew that he was smart and had a lot to offer, and he wasn't going to let Normie or anyone else bring him down.
One day, while out walking in the park, Bernd stumbled upon a group of people engaged in a heated discussion about a scientific topic. Intrigued, Bernd listened in, and before he knew it, he had contributed some valuable insights to the conversation.
As it turned out, one of the people in the group was a cute woman named Sarah, who was impressed by Bernd's knowledge and intelligence. The two of them struck up a conversation, and before long, they were walking and chatting together, discussing all kinds of topics that interested them both.
As the sun began to set, Bernd knew that he had to make his move. "I know this might sound crazy," he said, "but I really enjoy spending time with you. Would you like to go out with me sometime?"
Sarah's eyes lit up and she smiled widely. "I would love to," she said.
And so, Bernd and Sarah went on their first date, and as they walked hand in hand through the park, Bernd knew that he had finally found someone who appreciated and accepted him for who he was. He was no longer lonely, and he was grateful every day for the chance encounter that had brought him and Sarah together.
As for Normie, he was soon forgotten, a distant memory in Bernd's new and fulfilling life. Bernd knew that he didn't need Normie or anyone else to validate his worth, and he was grateful to have found someone who loved and accepted him just the way he was.
