The posting form itself is not very convenient. Long story stort, Dollchan makes the finest example of what a comfortable imageboard interface is supposed to be. This is just too different and kind of clunky.

and as much as im normally opposed to chat kinda thangs, i think this one is actually a better way of implementing it over the way, say kotchan for ex, has it. instead of it being the MAIN and only method (which only encourages everyone just posting all together in one chat, rather than having multiple threads) its merely an option off to the side.

plus, unlike discord or IRC, everyone can come and go as they please, so its not nearly as inclined to become clique-y

the one thing that really does genuinely bother me is the fact that the quick reply window pops up in the middle of the screen, covering many of the posts in the middle of the thread.

i think it would be cleaner if it came up on the right side, so that one can see all the posts theyre replying to without scrolling up/down.

What about having the reply box pop up right under the post of intredest? The quote button you have is decent, but it can scare a new user off, it feels like learning to walk again. Honestly I wouldn't mess with the functions of the mouse buttons to begin with.

Look at how well we handled the kz infiltrators: all it took was simply not replying to them too much. And that was it. Simple as.

We still might need a certain someone to straffe them when they get too annoying, but honestly not even the most draconian kcmod policy is better (or more painful for them) than simply ignoring them, unless they're flooding the board with gore or something. This is where you obviously need to ban them, and we need a guy for that. A guy who wouldnt keep his cool and won't go on power trips.
