I mean there are still a lot from shitman, teh setting makes it capeshit af. Or it is me who hates it too much.

The setting is New York. "Joker" is a Batman movie pretty much in name only. It's more psychological than action-oriented, and the characters have barely anything to do with the DC universe. Ok there's a rich guy named Wayne, and there are a few very subtle nods to the Batman universe, but these are just hidden easter eggs and decorations.
