Board owner, what the fuck?
Can there be JS-less version?
I appreciate the idea, I appreciate what you do for Bernds, but the engine sucks cocks. Why it has to be JS-ridden piece of code?
Even Google has light fully-functional HTML-only version of Google Mail.

unblock google fonts.
i will move them inside this host later.
non js version is far ahead in the future.
RussiaBernd2019-11-15 20:14:39 · 7yNo. 88414reply
okay i self hosted fonts you can now leave google fonts blocked.
MoscowBernd2019-11-15 20:15:19 · 7yNo. 88415reply
Google fonts (like many modern fonts) look, let's say, not that good. Tahoma rules.
What does the engine use? What DB? I think it's possible for me to write a bunch of scripts to fetch out the contents of the DB and form the page.
I had a bunch of saved KC pages, maybe we could make the structure of HTML pages identical to Krautchan.

BTW Palemoon 28.7.1, messages can't be sent.
RussiaBernd2019-11-15 20:31:05 · 7yNo. 88423reply
MySQL, yes its possible, but its not a priority.
If you have Krautchan upload them somewhere i could make use of em.
Testing Palemoon atm.

Is it fine if they were saved with Dollchan script enabled?

I offer you help so it could happen earlier.

gotem, giving up on palemoon for now, maybe when they fix that debugger bug.
picrel, it eats up to 22gb of memory and freezes each time i reload page.

Im started to understand.
no other imagebord looks as good on phone.
RussiaBernd2019-11-15 21:00:45 · 7yNo. 88441reply
not sure what you can do, i havent even decided what backend i will use, currently its php but im thinking about replacing it with scala so.
and it has to be super lightweight. anyway if you want to try i can give you mock database to play with.
also i should probably move this thread to /o/
RussiaBernd2019-11-15 21:01:33 · 7yNo. 88442reply
yep fren, its made to work-on-any-device in mind.
GermanyBernd2019-11-15 21:11:32 · 7yNo. 88446reply
Does this backend have open sores?
RussiaBernd2019-11-15 21:16:47 · 7yNo. 88449reply
No and its quite simple anyway, just posting and reading data from database. The majority of code is on frontend.
MoscowBernd2019-11-15 21:19:17 · 7yNo. 88452reply
At the very least you could open API.
RussiaBernd2019-11-15 21:23:34 · 7yNo. 88457reply
Then you need to make API-KEY system so it wont get DDOSed with XSS requests and it is the entire infrastructure.

by open api he meant allowing cross-site requests which is an important matter of security
