I’m not saying KC.rip has to be fast, I’m not saying I no longer have fun on here. But I noticed I find myself scrolling KC.org more than here. I don’t even post too often as much I probably should. Can one start to think why this might be? This is at its slowest and it’s been slow for quite a while. I definitely see a light at the end of the tunnel but for now since i’ll put it at the start of August, since then KC has officially entered the dark age.

You essentially explained the reason: you browser .org more - because there is a traffic there of legit users.
Users flock where they find interaction. Posting things and not getting replies is demoralizing.
Generally those users who has the most interesting posts, who can add to a discourse have little free time since they have a busy life. Those who hang out on imageboards all day has little to say because there is little in their lives, they usually have no interests or hobbies.

Oh I know the reasons, I would write about them extensively if I had the time but as you said, people with little free time have Busy lives typing this at 1am
But at this moment in time I care less about solving whatever imaginary problem the Bernds from other places make up. I think KC right now is ok and that’s all that matters, it’s for the best that we don’t have bums who sit around all day on image boards, that kind of person would only drive the thread quality to more degeneracy.

That's Because Everyone is going to other IBs such as Krautchan.org or 4chan because they have a much more active user base and such. A lot more people online there then here. These days on here we're lucky to get over a dozen Bernds online at the same time. Not to mention there isn't much new content posted on here these days. Sad bad it seems Kc.rips Golden years have Came and gone and long time ago. After /HS/ was taken down on here in 2023? The User base has been dropping at a significant rate to present. There are other factors that is causing KC.rip Dark ages but I'll late you dear reader to Decide. But since 2024 it has been the dark ages off and on to present. Sure even before covid there were ups and downs but not quite this bad. Hopefully things will improve for this IB but I guess we'll see.

100% we lost a massive chunk of the users, it was for a good reason but still I miss them sometimes.

The Golden years was before covid. By late 2023-2024 it was in a decline. But perhaps they'll be another Golden age for this ib in the future or perhaps not. It's been around for 17 years now,if it hasn't peaked in that time then it's time for some tweaks or something. Yeah,I it was for a good reason /Hs/ had become a mess. Yeah I miss them too sometimes.
