I personally don’t drink
I don't really have strong preferences.
I avoid white beer for I don't like the citric taste on it.
Usually just pick some local lager. I got used to the regular Hungarian ones so I'm fine with them even tho they are not good. In the 90s tiny breweries started to open and there was a quickening pace as time went by, and ofc they come and go. There was a good brewery in a small town they made a dark beer that strongly resembled to Guiness. I really liked it, but since the place is far I don't really have access, and I don't even know if they are still open.
Why do you prefer apa/neipa?
It grew on me. I didn’t like it the first time I tried it, but ever since I gave IPAs a chance, I can’t really drink regular lagers anymore. They just taste bland and tasteless - like literal piss. I’ve tried different kinds of IPAs, and NEIPA is my favorite at the moment. APA is #2 because it’s less bitter than regular IPA. I can occasionally drink Guinness and some wheat beers, as long as they don’t have a citrusy taste. Some Czech beers are pretty good sometimes too.
