We learn Bri'ish English in school which noone here can pronunciate and we rarely forced to speak so we end up a very typical Hunglish accent which somewhat similar how Germans speak English.

However I have an accent that can be called American with various quirks like often saying "t" instead of "th" like a New Yorker but also having a soft accent like Southerners.

Realized I had one after some friends from the U.S. came here to visit. I guess the brain just throws out the window all the years of learning pronounciation to mantain the normal speed of a conversation
