The internet is essentially the same, what changed are the people that use the internet.
Anyone that's been online for more than 20 years will easily pinpoint that the decline began around 2014.
Coincidentally internet penetration in India basically doubled between 2014-15. By 2019, almost 600 million indians were online. That's pretty much 2x the entire population of the USA.
Since the pandemic it only got worse. In 2025, india has over 1 billion internet users. As of 2025, 7 in 10 Indians are now online, with 70% internet penetration.
While there are many bots online, bots have always been part of the internet.
What changed is the 1 billion+ jeets that have invested every corner of the web. These people have the lowest IQs imaginable. They pollute the internet with AI Slop, broken english, weird interactions that seem bot like, ruin entire forums and comment sections, destroy online communities from within, etc.
Whenever you feel weird seeing a comment, whenever the AI slop gets unbearable, whenever something feels off online... There's a high chance it's due to some sub 80 IQ mongoloid jeet in Bangalore on his 100 dollar android phone.
The internet is not dead. It's jeeted and thirdied beyond belief, to the point of no return.
