GuatemalaEverything will go back to normalBernd2026-01-23 04:52:06 · 5mnNo. 354964reply
When the last person who lived WW2 dies, all wokeness and degeneracy will die with him. People will stop caring for ((them)), the Austrian guy and all the things that happened during that period. Imagine as if a Frenchman were still seething for losing the Napoleonic Wars. I bet no French cares their capital was occupied by foreign powers after Waterloo or that Republicanism was supressed harshly after the end of those wars. The point is, Napoleon was the Hitler of the XIX century and within 200 years people won't care for WW2 anymore and will think it was a boring and pointless conflict just like many across mankind history.

I think this is false, people who lived through the holocaust are now 90 and 100 years of age, and yet we still learn about them because it was a tragedy. Whether it be less relevant than now, probably but I doubt “wholeness” will die down.

Also hitler would never die because the 12year old middle school edge lord will never stop making joke about him. Hitler was literally the edge KING.

It’s not as soon as the last person who lived ww2 dies, but more likely when the last edgy basement dweller moves onto praising another gay figure, which is gonna take a while

Kek. You really underestimate the the pettiness of us here in Europe. Butthurt goes deeper than you think.
As for WWII and Hitler. The whole thing is exploited for political advantages. One can intimidate by pointing fingers and calling others fascists for their opinions.
Another side of it: we already have such thing as "third generation Holocaust survivor" who were "traumatized" by the events that happened 80 years ago. The real reason is that from the 70s first as an experiment they started to bring high school students to a Holocaust trip to Poland. Then from the late 80s it became the norm and all the classes have to go. These teenagers are prepared emotionally, they are told they are surrounded by people who hate them and who want to kill them, and they are manipulated into emotional turmoil and catharsis. Watch Defemation, a documentary by an Israeli filmmaker. Very interesting, it's on youtube.
