Disclaimer: I'm not racist or anti-immigration per se.

 

That being said, I'm getting increasingly annoyed by the amount of foreigners. At my job it is a daily occurance that people who don't speak German (and worse: only speak broken English or no English or German at all) walk in and then they don't understand what our service is exactly and what the terms and conditions are. I'm often not able to explain it to them properly, because they don't understand, and that leads to more problems down the line.

 

At the gym I like to go to, it's like 80% brown people and 10% Russians/Ukrainians now. If I ask someone how many sets they have left or if they need some equipment, they are unable to hold the convo in German. They shower wearing underwear, go into the sauna with dripping wet clothes, no towel, and play on their phone.

 

The other day I went on a date and we had to wait for a table. Another couple walks in and I tell them we're already waiting. Their reply: "Sorry, English please."

 

Just learn German before coming here, please. Textbooks and Duolingo are widely available and we have Goethe Institutes in 99 countries.
