Some say that the end of the day, just before sleep we should look back and find three things (or more if we can, no harm in that) from that day that made us feel good. These can be quite simple even, like a good meal, or even a breath of fresh air, a moment of peace. But we should think and concentrate on these things, and quiet the rest of the memories.
