you're likely right but it doesnt mean its not hyperpop
hyperpop is more of a feeling than a genre in the traditional sense, technically every major hyperpop artist is playing a different genre if you apply this logic
laura les might be the greatest example of this, she's done everything from metal to electronic music to pop to rock, but it's all under the hyperpop umbrella
we could say that hyperpop is a metaphysical quality of a song if that makes sense
